Turtle Cove, Cambridge Beaches, Bermuda - Oct. 4, 2009
Put your feet up
and admire how well your feet look against the Atlantic.
Breathe, breathe, breathe.
While the flights to get here are abysmal from Southwest Virginia, we made it without any outstanding stories. This morning we were up and walking on the beach by 8. We made our first full beach attempt around 10. We had 30 minutes of fine weather and then the sky began to darken. We decided to wait it out under the tiny beach umbrella. I was able to take some wonderful "rain on the ocean" images. We conceded to the rain however and made it back to the safety of our dry patio. A warm blanket and woosh into napland. A little lunch and we were back out for our second beach attempt around 2. A total success- we were able to stay until 5:30.

What fun! My daughter took photos of her feet when we were in Ocean City, MD the summer of 1996.
