Photo Fun Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone-

`
We ran to Nashville to visit my son and his wife. Left Saturday at 6AM, arrived for lunch, returned home on Sunday after a late breakfast. It was worth it. Here are my contributions to the following challenges.
 Thanks for the  love!

And for all you Me as a Mother visitors - they do grow up fast- so please enjoy them!

And then I got carried away with this image taken last year ...
First I started out adding a layer for my first contribution to

Photo Art Friday~ at Pixel Dust Photo~

For this weeks challenge Bonnie asked for images that showcased  "bokeh"

*Photoble.com says:  "bokeh comes from the Japanese word ‘boke’, which means fuzzy. In photography, bokeh defines the quality of the blurred lights presented in a photo. We’re not referring to a badly taken photo that’s all out of focus, but rather the aesthetically pleasing background blur. Usually, this type of blur highlights the focused subject even more.  Producing nice bokeh involves creating a shallow depth of field."

In the image below I have used one her free layers that she offered on her page for the challenge.
Wow thank you!

Musicians Corner -Centennial Park, Nashville TN- June 25, 2011

Here is the original image:

And into black and white with a conte` crayon filter...

Here is just one more.  All I can remember doing is adding Bonnie's layer, the glowing border filter, and then a negative filter in curves.

As you may have guessed my son plays music. He and his wife make up the husband and wife duo of the group called

Click to take a listen and download their music.

And you can find the on Facebook. You Knew Me When (facebook link)
They return to the studio on June 2, 2012  to record their second CD and head out on the road at the end of June

And last but not least my entry for Guest Heart Thursday...

  4. Isn’t it fun experimenting with the textures. I love the ones from Pixel Dust as well as Kim’s. Oh, to be so talented. The shot of the guitar against the art work is especially nice. Lovely photography and processing. genie
