The Outside of the Curve

And down below two hearts images for Random Heart Thursday.

I am exploring the curve. I thought I would be dancing inside the curve. I thought I would be comforted by the curve. January found me outside the curve. Clinging, grasping, sliding - surrendering to the free fall. I slide off the edge.

Looking closely at this close up-  you can see a layer from Bonnie over at Pixel Art Photo- Thank you Bonnie!
You helped me hang on

The curved umbrella of faith poofing open with a muffled grace.
I step back from the edge onto a clean kitchen floor.
I stoop to to fill the empty dog bowl with water.
I see it was not empty after all.

It is a bowl full of sunshine.

Over and over again, life is strung together by moments of grace.

These little bird statues study a heart shaped leaf on my front porch. Happy Valentines Day - I hope it was lovely.

And here you must look closely to find a little angel watching over a sideways heart. Everyday I am blessed.

  2. Oh Teri, this is so lovely. The whole of it and each part.

I love how you say you are studying the curve. While that may "mean" something entirely else to YOU, to me it speaks volumes about the dance BEtween Holding On and Letting Go. [as Ginger Rogers DOing so backward in heels]

There is a simplicity of sweet grace in your post. Thank you so very much for sharing it here where it gets to bless me and my day.

  5. Live throws us curve balls. Usually I can't catch the straight tosses either. But we do what we can to get by. And sometimes we are lucky to have the help of a curved hand and arm to help pull us up, to help us take notice of sweet ordinary things.
    Thanks and hugs.

  9. Not sure what "curves" you may be experiencing but just know they won't last forever.
Your piece is wonderful. I love the sense of movement in them and the wonderful color.
Stay calm and as they say, carry on. Hugs!
