Near the feet of my soul I find my roots~
`
`
Placing this image upon the screen, the words fall from my finger tips. Now I need to hear what they say.
`
`
Standing in blessing
Rooted yet rising,
Over a stone wall
afternoon light finds its way
`
afternoon light finds its way
`

even better with the image.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I work this way too...I start with an image and allow it to speak. Other times I search for an image that wants to sit with my words...creativity flows in all directions.
You did a wonderful job of matching image and words in this post.
ReplyDelete"Organic" is the word that keeps coming to mind. Natural, complete, exactly the way it is. Back to the basics. I feel my best when I look at life this way.
ReplyDeleteThis post speaks to me ~
Laura-
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder- -Creativity like the divine spirit moves as it will - just when you get the path of love "figured out" it finds another way to move. Staying openly focused- xo teri
Oh George - thank you! How are you? Has spring found its way to your mountains?
ReplyDeleteSharon- You know it is very "organic" - it feels like there is an intention toward balance of being rooted and rising up. As I told a friend I was working in the dirt near these daffodil leaves and upon seeing that light glowing through their newness I ran inside to get my camera ... I am so glad I did!
ReplyDeleteYour words and image are so beautiful and touching. You're becoming quite poet, Teri.
ReplyDeleteTalk about doing wonders with images...this absolutely glows...I can´t stop looking at it.
ReplyDeleteYour writings are wonderful too.
