Sometimes You Need a Sign

Taos High Road, NM, June 6, 2010

I am not about to complain to you.
I save most of that for my husband
and a few close friends
and-

you know what?

My complaining is getting worse.
But we will save that for another day.

I am someone does a bit of grousing about rules-
but usually follows them anyway.
As a child I was upset by those free spirit children.
As another aside;
somewhere in my late 30's
I discovered a latent free spirit child
who began misbehaving in me.

This is very hard because I worry about rules and decorum-
BUT
goodness knows
I would never
park my motorized vehicle
in the
"Mule Parking Only" spot.

  1. I wouldn't park there either, unless I happened to be riding my mule.

  2. Me either! That'd be "bray"king the rules ;)
In this fast paced, technological age, how refreshing is a sight like that.

Clicked over from Sharon's blog, enjoyed browsing here.

  3. Sharon- You know I have ridden a horse, camel and elephant but I have never ridden a mule...I wonder what other modes of transportation I have missed. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Joanne - Thank you for your playful response. I am going to go out on a limb and share with you that over the past year I have been "bray"vly attempting to go out of my comfort zone and em"bray"ce and be em"bray"ced by love. This means many things to me and honestly words fail me now (and often)- but I am grateful that you enjoyed my visiting my blog. Have a great day! :-)

  5. That's funny. And I think mules already get a raw deal. They are constantly put to the test for endurance.
