The late summer shadows in the alley behind my house.
Though summer is making way for autumn, my dill plants are
celebrating with an exuberance of seeds.
These seeds will dry and fall
to the ground, ready for their winter rest.
Still and quiet, waiting
without distress for the warmth of spring.
So I will curve into autumn.

when I downloaded the image it reminded me of Laura's image on her blog.
It reminded me of her inspiration that always awaits me when I visit.
