Autumn Gifts of Gratefulness

~There in the rose the heart blooms.~

I have been blessed with a little book called Grace for Each Moment. It is one of those little daily devotional books. You know the ones that can boost you up with perfect synchronicity, or leave you wondering, "I sure hope this is not meant for me, because I don't get it."  I found this book in September, while waiting for my departure at the Sanford Orlando airport. I had been been to visit my dear Florida friend.  While in Florida, I  had the sad news that a friend back home had succumbed to, what is still, unclear causes.

The little book; Grace for Each Moment  was the book I found while in the airport. Grace was the name of my friend who died.

So for 5 minutes every morning, after I feed the dog and get some hot tea, I spend a little time with Grace. Grace has been on a kick this week - the whole week- on being grateful. I see that I have never used the tag or label "grateful" for any of my past 508 posts.

That does not mean I have not been grateful. As I look back on my many blog posts, I see that I stop often each day to witness to Gods awesomeness. My camera always ready to reaffirm what I know to be wonderful. I will pause to ponder the word grateful, because if I peek ahead in my little book it appears there are many more messages about it. Have a wonderful day.

And here is another heart I found-linking to Leaves for Loetien and in honor of all those living with cancer. It is also linked to Tina's Pic Story~ ORANGE. My not quite orange offering. The leaves are more yellow here this year.

And other moments; client moments- I love my job.

  4. Grace must have been a lovely person. I'm so glad you found the little book for your quiet times. You made me stop and think about being grateful. I don't have this word in my tags either, though I feel grateful so often in my life.

I see the heart blooming in the rose, and the one on the leaf for Leontien. What a special and wonderful post.

    Love and Peace for Leontien.

  7. Teri, I see gratefulness in every photo and story you post. "'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home."
