I have ALOT of tomatoes - a bumper crop in fact. So we are eating a lot
of tomatoes this summer... but that is ok- because they make me smile.
Can you believe all these hearts!!??? Me either.

Beautiful colored photographs of Wild Hearts made me smile, for I too love the arts, it also reminded me of the croute and the question whether tomato is a vegetable or a fruit? But whatever the answer these seem so juicy and fresh Just right for a Kashmiri recipe to make 'tomato chutney mesh' Lovely presentation Teri.
I never knew cut tomatoes could look so good except to eat them:) fab shots here and I especially like the one with the knife....a fabulous "wet-in-wet" foto!
Anjum - I treasure this tomato poem and shall think of you today as I undertake canning some of these fruity vegetables! Thank you for stopping by- xo teri
Sharon- when my children were young it was a lucky thing if they were fed on time. The canning as you know is a new endeavor-giving me all new things to photograph. - xo teri
Cynnie- My poor camera does not get much of a rest - even when I am in the midst of dinner prep. My husband knows it can take awhile due to the need to photograph what I am doing- I think that is why I am usually just the sous-chef. xo teri

Gorgeous tomatoes! We used to can those, too, years ago when our kids were little and we had a neighbor with an overflow from their garden.
