Even while the color of autumn winds down- there are spots where a bit of warm, afternoon light will give that yellow leaf just the right amount of love to make it shine.
And in the underbrush you may find
some brilliant shades of red-
some brilliant shades of red-
hoping to catch your eye.
But the rest of mother nature has let go of so many things.
as she prepares for winter.

What wonderful fotos!!! I love the top one where it looks like the person in the distance is walking into a tunnel of sorts....the light is gorgeous too. We actually had snow this morning.....
ReplyDeleteCynnie- What good eyes you have! Yes there is a person in the distance. This is my towns beloved Huckleberry trail- and it is well used. It is quite the feat (smile) to get this trail without anyone on it. The trees do create a wonderful tunnel! It is about time to take my dog for her walk out there right now- have a great rest of your day!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed these beautiful shots of some of the remaining autumn color. The light you captured is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteGeorge- Thanks so much. Here's to walking in the light. :-) and having a camera always ready.
ReplyDeleteThe contrast in the last photo, where the trees are bare but the grass is still green, speaks to me of letting go in some areas while I continue to grow in others. Hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteWill prints of your photos be available on your website?;)
